The Chronicle of the Horse reports that Kent Farrington (USA) injured his right leg in a fall at the Winter Equestrian Festival yesterday, while competing the 12-year-old Lucifer V (Lord Pezi x Grandeur) in a 1,30m class.

The world no. one was brought to Wellington Regional Medical Center for further examinations, and there is so far no news on Farrington's exact injuries or how long he will be out for.

World of Showjumping wishes Kent a speedy recovery, and hope to see him back in the ring soon.
