Three of the world’s best horses returned to the international ring this week at the 2016 Spring MET in Oliva. Scott Brash brought Ursula XII (Ahorn x Papageno) and Hello Guv’Nor (Diamant de Semilly x Papillon Rouge) back to action, as did Gregory Wathelet with his European Vice Champion Conrad de Hus (Con Air x Locato).

Ursula XII did her last show with Brash in October 2014 in Birmingham, while Hello Guv’Nor was last seen competing in March last year in Gothenburg. Conrad de Hus has had a break since he won the Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup Final in Barcelona in September 2015 with the Belgian team. All horses cleared their respective tracks in Oliva, jumping in the 1.30 and 1.35 Gold Tours.

Of Ursula XII and Hello Guv’Nor, Brash said in a press release from the 2016 Spring MET: "I am really happy with them, they jumped excellent. Ursula felt fantastic, she is fresh and she is happy to be back in the ring again. We will take our time with her, but she feels very good!”
