Kingsland AS, the designer and manufacturer of Kingsland equestrian apparel and horse gear, keeps expanding their team and has signed a sponsor contract with the most dominating family within the Norwegian equestrian sport; Geir, Victoria and Johan S. Gulliksen. Geir Gulliksen is one of the grand old men in Norwegian showjumping, and has dominated result lists both in and out of the country. In 2007 Geir won the Rikstoto Grand Prix during Oslo Horse Show, and in 2008 he qualified for the Olympics with the Norwegian team. He has participated in three World Equestrian Games, once at the Olympic Games, in six European Championships and in three World Cup finals.
Geir’s children Victoria (b.1992) and Johan Gulliksen (b.1996) have been raised with horses around them, and have naturally followed in their father’s footsteps. They are two of the most talented riders in Norway. Both have medals from the Norwegian Championships and the Nordic championships.
“To have the Gulliksen family on our team shows the scope in our products. Horses are a lifestyle and something that occupies you during your entire life. Geir’s long experience together with the current and future campaigning for Johan and Victoria, reflects Kingsland with both classical and innovative products,” says Lin Kingsrød, owner and designer at Kingsland.
“For us it is both important and exciting to be a part of the marketing and promotion of a Norwegian company that is world leading on equestrian apparel and horse gear. Kingsland is a strong brand both in Norway and abroad and we look forward to using their products both in training, competition and on our leisure time,” Geir Gulliksen states on behalf of the family.
