On top: Cristallo! Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson.Cristallo (Caretino x Cicero) has climbed up on the FEI WBFSH World Ranking List, and is now on top of the ranking. Last month Cristallo was rank two, but in June the 14 year old gelding ridden by Richard Spooner passed last month’s number one Casall La Silla (Caretino x Lavall I) on the ranking with two points separating them at 1255 and 1253 respectively. This means that Caretino has two offspring on top of the ranking. Nino des Buissonnets (Kannan x Narcos II) is still rank three on 1045 points. The ranking include validated results from 01/10/2011 to 30/06/2012.

The Holsteiner Verband is still rank one on the studbook ranking. Cristallo, Casall La Silla, Carlina (Carvallo x Landgraf I) and Carlo (Contender x Cascavelle) are the studbooks best representatives. The Holsteiner Verband has a total of 5446 points. Just like last month KWPN follows in rank two; with Big Star (Quick Star x Nimmerdor), VDL Groep Verdi (Quidam de Revel x Landgraf I) and Verdi III (Hors la Loi II x Cantus) as their best representatives. The KWPN studbook has a total of 4933 points. This month the BWP studbook has passed the Selle Francais, and is rank three with 4586 points. BWP’s best representatives are Cornet Obolensky (Clinton x Heartbreaker), Derly Chin de Muze (For Pleasure x Nebab de Reve) and Abbervail van het Dingeshof (Nonstop x Jus de Pomme).
