On the 11th of June, the Sole Arbitrator issued his decision against the two Saudi Arabian riders. The Sole Arbitrator partially upheld the appeals and reduced the periods of ineligibility from eight to two months, which by then had been already served by the two riders – allowing them to compete at the Olympics. The full award with the grounds did not follow, but this is now available on CAS’s website.
