Christian Ahlmann and Colorit win CSI3* Grand Prix of Mannheim

The Germans came strong in force for the CSI3* Grand Prix of Mannheim MMV Die Badenia, with Christian Ahlmann and Colorit on top accompanied by eight more German riders in the top twelve. 

Nine of the 48 riders in the 1.60m Grand Prix worth 65.000 Euro moved on to the jump-off after jumping clear over the first round track. Against the clock Ahlmann and the 14-year-old stallion by Coriano x Capitol I were the fastest, stopping the clock at 38.27 seconds. Almost two seconds behind, in 40.08 followed Karim Elzoghby (EGY) on Amelia (Cantos x Numero Uno) while third place went to Markus Beerbaum (GER) on Comanche (Coupe de Coeur x Baloubet du Rouet) with a time of 43.69 seconds. 

Laura Klaphake (GER) finished fourth, and Simone Blum (GER) fifth.
