Switzerland's Martin Fuchs and the 10-year-old mare Bastille (Balou du Rouet x Chacco-Blue) went to the top in Friday's CSI4* Royal Bliss Trophy Big Tour 1.50m at Andalucía Sunshine Tour 2024.

Best of a field of 84-horse-and-rider combinations in this Big Tour Grand Prix qualifier counting for the Longines Ranking Group D, Fuchs stopped the clock on 67.79 seconds – leaving yesterday's winners Penelope Leprevost (FRA) and Djagger Semilly (Diamant de Semilly x Apache d'Adriers) to the runner-up spot, with 0.74 seconds separating the two.

Fuchs' compatriot Anthony Bourquard took the third place aboard Ecuador de la Cense (Kannan x Skippy II), clocking a time of 68.64 seconds. João Victor Castro Aguiar Gomes De Lima (BRA) and Charon van Moeshof (Diamant de Semilly x Fergar Mail) placed fourth with a time of 69.26 seconds, followed by Michael Greeve (NED) and Denver (Diarado x Quantum) in fifth in 69.61.

In the CSI4* Medium Tour 1.45m, also counting for the Longines Ranking Group D, it was once again Penelope Leprevost who was the fastest – this time riding Fantasy de la Roque Z (For Hero x Heartbreaker). With a time of 21.31 seconds in phase two, Leprevost beat Kendra Claricia Brinkop (GER) and Ma Belle (Ugano Sitte x Bayard d'Elle) by 0.05 seconds. Another 0.02 seconds behind Brinkop followed El Ghali Boukaa and A Kyss (Diamant de Semilly x Cabdula du Tillard), taking third.
