European Championships Aachen 2015
VDL Groep Verdi TN N.O.P. plays his way through the finish line after jumping a clear round in the first qualifier of the Europeans. Maikel van der Vleuten finished 10th individually, while his team sits 5th. All photos (c) Jenny Abrahamsson.
The super cute Kleiner Onkel and Russia's Maria Madenova.
Katharina Offel produced one of four clear rounds for Ukraine with Zipper, and currently sits 6th with her team and 13th individually.
Kevin Staut and Reveur de Hurtebises HDC did not have the best of days, and had two down for France that ranked second after the first day.
Fit For Fun jumped a super round for Luciana Diniz, but sadly one pole fell.
Michael Whitaker did as he usually does; delivered a clear round - on Cassionato.
Niels Bruynseels and Pommeau de Heup did not have luck on their side and had some trouble on the line from ten to eleven.
Piergiorgio Bucci and Catwalk Z had a good day at work and finished off 9th individually. Italy lies 7th.
You can count on these two; Germany's Ludger Beerbaum rode a tremendous clear on Chiara to finish second and to give his team the lead.
The Swiss team surprisingly finished outside the top ten, and ranked 13th - here Paul Estermann and Castlefield Eclipse in action.
The winners: Penelope Leprevost and Flora de Mariposa - possibly one of the most amazing combinations you can watch in this sport.
These two.... Sergio Alvarez Moya go clear on Carlo, to finish off 6th individually in yesterday's class.
Sören Pedersen and Tailormade Chaloubet did a great clear for Denmark.
Zuzana Zelinkova unfortunately parted ways with Caleri II after fence ten.
