CSI5* The Dutch Masters 2024

What a victory for Willem Greve and Highway TN N.O.P.! On home soil, and as the last pair out in a nine-horse jump-off, the two snatched the win from world no. one Henrik von Eckermann and King Edward with a margin of only 0.04 seconds in the first Rolex Grand Slam Major of the year – the €1,000,000 CSI5* 1.60m Rolex Grand Prix at The Dutch Masters in 's-Hertogenbosch.

With these images, we look back at the action in the sold-out Brabanthallen and send our congratulations to Team Greve!

Greve and Highway TN N.O.P were 25th to go in the first round and the last pair out of the 38 starting horse-and-rider combinations who managed to deliver a clear, solving all the questions asked by course designer Louis Konickx to make it a jump-off of nine.

At the press conference following his win, Greve explained that he knew he was behind von Eckermann and King Edward in the jump-off, but getting the perfect turn after the penultimate fence – the red and white Audi-oxer – and giving his all to the last Rolex-oxer did the trick.

It's not over until it's over! Greve and Highway TN N.O.P. gave their all through the finish line – with their eyes on the Rolex trophy.

That split second when you don't know if you made it or not...

...and then the split second when you realise you actually did.

What a day for this trio!

The Dutch Chef d'Equipe Jos Lansink was the first to congratulate Greve.

It was an emotional win for Greve, on home soil with family and friends present.

The Dutch riders made sure to give the home crowds a great Sunday of top sport, with a victory for Willem Greve and a third place for Harrie Smolders.

All the love for Highway TN N.O.P.

The Nijhof-family – owners of Highway TN N.O.P. – were present for the prize giving ceremony.

Greve's groom Richard Skillen received a special prize presented by Rolex.

Willem giving all the credit to his incredible Highway TN N.O.P.

Next up for Greve: CHIO Aachen as the Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping live contender!
