One jump is all you need to see to know that Dynamite is an exceptional horse. He’s the perfect gentleman under the saddle, powerful and careful with a great attitude and a literally ‘explosive’ jump.
Dynamite is a young horse with great bone structure and an impressive jumping talent. He doesn’t attract too much attention over smaller fences, waiting until the bar is raised to demonstrate what he’s capable of. However high the jumps are he always clears them effortlessly with a perfect bascule. Dynamite has plenty of blood and all the attributes of an exceptional competition horse.
This gelding does his first-rate pedigree proud.
His sire Vittorio was a top international Grand Prix horse with Pieter Keunen and Tim van den Otelaar. Now his sons and daughters, including Don Diablo (Michel Hendrix), Dittorio (Alaa Mayssara) and Barcelona (Harry Marshall) are carving out their own careers. The dam’s sire Burggraaf has a Holstein lineage featuring Landgraf I x Cor de la Bryère. Burggraaf is globally famous for his competition career with Roleof Bril, and for some very successful progeny including Libero H., Taggi, Freestyle, Lucky Luke, Landmann and currently FF Flyoe (Quentin Judge) and Bon Ton vh Hippodroom (Nicholai Lindbjerg). Dynamite also inherits the genes of influential stallion Voltaire, who traces his impressive performance lineage back to Gotthard via Furioso II. Voltaire has sired numerous international show jumpers.
Dynamite was secured for this auction lot eighteen months ago. In the meantime, he’s been impressing the public at equestrian shows in Holland. Already placed on many occasions in 1.25m classes, he’ll be ready to compete in international youngster tours next season.
With this combination of scope and winning attitude, this horse really is dynamite.
