Philipp Weishaupt (GER) won Thursday's biggest class at CSIO5* Rotterdam, the 1.55m presented by Dura Vermeer – a qualifier for the Longines Grand Prix tomorrow. Aboard the 12-year-old gelding Lesson Peak (Lord Z x Cashandcarry), Weishaupt produced one of sixteen clears in the first round to move on to the jump-off where he by far was the fastest with his time of 36.61 seconds.
In 38.42 seconds followed Luciana Diniz (POR) on the 10-year-old mare Isabeau (Winningmood x Gershwin), while Henrik von Eckermann (SWE) and the 16-year-old Cantinero (Dobel's Cento x Cash) ended third with a time of 38.56 seconds. Leopold van Asten (NED) was best on behalf of the hosts with VDL Groep Miss Untouchable (Chacco-Blue x Aldatus), clocking the time of 38.90 followed by William Whitaker (GBR) and Lammy Beach (Beach Ball x Coevers Diamond Boy) in fifth.
