With less than a week to go before the start of the 2018 X-BIONIC® SUMMER TOUR presented by Energochemica, the stage is set for three consecutive weekends of exciting, international show jumping competition. Beginning on July 17, the X-BIONIC® SPHERE SUMMER TOUR will offer a range of CSI1*, CSI2*, CSI4* and CSI YH 1* classes for professional and amateur riders, culminating with the much anticipated FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ Youth 2018 competition for Young Riders, Juniors, and Children (2 - 5 August, 2018).

This year, eight of the participating countries in the FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ Youth will include: Slovakia, Denmark, Germany, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the Czech Republic, Hungary, Belgium, and Kazakhstan, among others. Offering €43.000 in total prize money, the event provides the opportunity for Europe’s brightest future talents to test their skills during intensive, international team competition. The event will take place over four days at X-BIONIC® SPHERE, one of the most state of the art sports centers in all of Europe.

Once again this season, the X-BIONIC® SUMMER TOUR has generated a tremendous level of interest, having received a sold-out number of entries as early as April 2018. In response, Event Director Denis Monticolo has announced the addition of a new CSI1* and CSI YH 1* program for the weekend of August 2-5, 2018, which will accommodate up to 150 riders currently placed on the wait list.

The 2018 SUMMER TOUR includes 12 Longines ranking classes, with a total of €575.000 prize money offered throughout the circuit’s three weekends: 17-22 July, 24-29 July, and 2-5 August. Taking place across 2 grass and 2 sand competition arenas, with additional areas open daily for training rounds, X-BIONIC® SPHERE is the brainchild of successful businessman and endurance enthusiast, Mario Hoffmann. The complex, which is also the Olympic training center of Slovakia, represents a universe of sports, leisure, and innovation, accommodating 27 separate Olympic disciplines.
