The Swedish Warmblood Association is proud to present the 2018 collection of elite foals, an exquisite collection of athletic, super jumper foals by for example Big Star, Cornet Obolensky, Heartbeat and Casall to name a few. All with performance oriented bloodlines, strong performance pedigrees and dam lines that are bound to produce top horses. 

The auction will take place on Friday October 5 in the beautiful surroundings of Flyinge, the Swedish National Equestrian Center. 

New for this year is that the auction will open with the selling of two embryos. The embryo with a pedigree for jumping is by Thunder van de Zuuthoeve out of Cristal (SWB) – Vivaldi K – Nabab de Reve. The combination of Thunder, a top competition stallion and prominent producer and Cristal with her extremely successful dam line having produced many S class horses is bound to attract interest from anyone in the market for a top prospect. 

The collection is super, however to mention a few: CC Stud’s Nigeunerin by Big Star – Montreal, a filly with impeccable breeding featuring Nick Skelton’s power house Big Star combined with the dam line’s performance, grand dam Zigeunerin produced approved stallion Goodtimes for example. 

Carmento E, a colt by Cardento – Irco Mena is a true testament to Swedish breeding for jumping horses. The ELITE stallion Cardento with too many merits to mention (Olympic, WEG, European Championships etc.) in combination with the super successful Irco Mena blood present in many of the SWB performance horses today; Can you spell SWB success?!  

Fighting Falcon, a colt by Heartbeat – Café Au Lait is not only a contender for future success but quite a lovely colt with lots of chrome. His sire Heartbeat by Heartbreaker, international showjumper is an Elite stallion in SWB with many offspring competing in S class. Falcon’s dam line is a proven producer of jumping horses.  

The Elite Foal Auction is the highlight of the week in Flyinge where Breeders Trophy, the Swedish Young Horse Championship is taking place October 1-7. The top 3-7-year-old horses in jumping (and dressage and eventing) meet and compete for the coveted Breeders Trophy award. The international top rider, Olympic – as well WEG gold medal winner Jeroen Dubbeldam, NL will be the test rider of the 5-year-old jumping horses on October 7. An event not to be missed!
