The Dutch Equestrian Federation has announced their jumping team for the ECCO FEI World Championships 2022 in Herning, Denmark, which takes place from 6–14 August this year.
The team will consist of:
- Willem Greve with Grandorado TN (Eldorado vd Zeshoek x Carolus II), owner Willem Greve Sportpaarden B.V. and Team Nijhof.
- Harrie Smolders with Monaco (Cassini II x Contender), owner Evergate Stables LLC. Reserve horse is Darry Lou (Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve x Nabab de Reve), owner Evergate Stables LLC and Nayel Nassar.
- Sanne Thijssen with Con Quidam RB (Quinar x Cardino 5), owner Stal Thijssen BV.
- Maikel van der Vleuten with Beauville Z (Bustique x Jumpy des Fontaines), owner Marta Ortega-Perez and Springstal Van der Vleuten.
Travelling reserve:
- Jur Vrieling with Long John Silver 3 (Lasino x San Patrignano Corrado), owner SF Equestrian BV.
First reserve:
- Hessel Hoekstra with Icoon VDL (Bubalu VDL x Cardento), owner Stal Wiefferink.
