Close-Up

It's time for a new WoSJ Close-Up, and this time we take a closer look at one of our all-time favorites Conrad de Hus ridden by Belgium's Gregory Wathelet. The now 11-year-old Holsteiner stallion by Con Air x Locato had a tremendous 2015, where he won the individual silver medal at the European Championships in Aachen as well as taking home the 2015 Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup title for Belgium at the finals in Barcelona. Conrad de Hus also won the 2015 Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix in Chantilly as well as the 2015 Golden Drum in Basel. The stallion has just returned to competition after a well deserved break, and will for sure be one of the favorites for a medal at this year's Olympics in Rio. All photos (c) Jenny Abrahamsson.
