Israel’s Daniel Bluman was earlier this month crowned Rider of the Year by the international equestrian yearbook L’Année Hippique. Bluman was presented with the Rider of the Year award during the The Ten auction in Belgium, receiving the trophy from L’Année Hippique’s producer Mrs Inge van der Net.
Bluman had a great 2018-season, winning the CSI4* NetJets Grand Prix with Sancha LS and the CSI5* Fidelity Investments Grand Prix with Ladriano Z at the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, Florida. Bluman also took big wins in Toronto, Tryon and at Spruce Meadows as well as representing Israel at the World Equestrian Games in Tryon with Ladriano Z.
This year has continued successfully for Bluman, who won both the CSI5* Douglas Elliman Real Estate Grand Prix and the CSI5* Equinimity WEF Challenge Cup Round 7 in Wellington riding Ladriano Z. In April, the good results put Ladriano Z on top of the WBFSH Rolex Ranking as the best horse in the world.
