Hans-Dieter Dreher and his Grand Prix-winner Cool and Easy have parted ways.

The 13-year-old Holsteinder gelding by Contender x Riverman has been with Dreher since September  2014, when he took over the reins from Jessica Kürten. Together, Dreher and Cool and Easy won the 2016 Longines Grand Prix of St. Gallen and also took international victories in Basel, Salzburg, Oslo, Helsinki and Frankfurt.

St. Georg.de reports that Cool and Easy's owner Paul Bücheler has given the gelding to Swiss rider Manuel Eugster to ride, in order to not have to jump the bigger classes anymore. The new couple already made their debut at the CSI2* event in Gorla Minore, Italy in June.
