Henk Nooren to coach Italian showjumpers

Acclaimed Dutch trainer Henk Nooren starts coaching a group of top Italian riders from the 1st of January 2016. Nooren will not take the title Chef d’Equipe, but will assist riders such as Piergiorgio Bucci, Emanuele Gaudiano and Lorenzo de Luca – filling the gap of former Chef d’Equipe Hans Horn. Henk’s assistant will be Emilio Puricelli, while Roberto Arioldi will be the official team manager.

Henk Nooren is known as one of world’s best trainers and has had many successes in the past with the Swedish showjumping team, the French team and the Dutch squad. Focusing their sights on the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro 2016, the Italian federation decided to put Henk Nooren in charge of their best riders.
