Spain’s Eduardo Alvarez Aznar has strengthened his string of horses ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games with the now 12-year-old mare Made In’T Ruytershof (Norton d’Eole x Diamant de Semilly, bred by Stal Ruytershof Bvba).

Previously ridden by Jan Van Alken (BEL) and Linda Bratomi (ITA), Made In’T Ruytershof did her five-star debut with Italy’s Francesco Turturiello in September 2021. With Turturiello, Made In’T Ruytershof was part of the Italian team at the 2023 FEI Jumping European Championships in Milan, Italy, last summer. During 2023, the two also won a two-star Grand Prix in Gorla Minora and finished 4th in the Longines King George V Gold Cup at Hickstead.

“I bought her now at the beginning of the year, and the idea is to have an option to go to the Olympics with,” Eduardo Alvarez Aznar told World of Showjumping. “I have a good string of horses at the moment, with Legend, Orient and Rockerfeller – as well as all the young ones coming up. I believe Made In’T Ruytershof is a good addition to the stable, for this year and for the future.”
