Markus Fuchs is the new trainer for Ukraine.

Markus Fuchs takes over as trainer for Alexander Onischenko's Ukrainian riders. Rene Tebbel, who switched nationality and began competing for Ukraine in January 2015, has also inhabited the position as team coach since 2014 – but is now replaced by Fuchs in this function.

Fuchs is himself a former top rider with team medals from the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, the 1994 World Championships in Den Haag as well as collecting a wide range of medals at the European Championships. More recently Fuchs has been busy coaching, and has been involved as a trainer both on the Swiss and Italian team.
