France's 21-year-old Adeline Hecart recorded one of her career-bests on Saturday, winning the CSI4* Al Shira'aa Longines Grand Prix aboard Pasha du Gue (Dollar de la Pierre x Darco).
Hecart and the 14-year-old gelding delivered one of the three double clear rounds of this 1.50-1.60m competition, with the fastest time in the jump-off stopping the clock at 52.60 seconds. Saudi rider Khaled Abdulrahman Almobty finished as runner-up on Zypern 4 (Landos x Caretino) while Khalid Hilal Al Khatri from Bahrain completed the podium in third place with Awal BDF (Quidam de Revel x Linaro).
Home rider Abdullah Al Marri had the fastest time in the jump-off, but on the expense of a rail to settle for fourth place. In fifth came Spain's Luis Jesus Escobar.
