South-Africa's Alexa Stais topped Sunday's CSI2* 1.45m Grand Prix in Luhmühlen, Germany. Riding the 15-year-old gelding Quintato (Quidam's Rubin x Stakkato), Stais was the fastest of the eleven that had qualified for the jump-off – stopping the clock at 36.26 seconds.
In runner-up position followed USA's Giavanna Rinaldi with RMF Chacco Top (Chacco-Blue x Graf Top), with a time of 38.39 seconds. Third place went to Germany's own Mario Stevens on Botakara (Balou du Rouet x Espri), who finished the jump-off in 39.36 seconds. Steven's compatriots Lisa-Marie Mailand and Kendra Claricia Brinkop ended fourth and fifth – making it a good day for the host nation.
