Alexander Butler (IRL) and the 15-year-old stallion Chilli B (Berlin x Cardento 933) won Sunday's CSI4* 1.55m Grand Prix at the Toscana Tour in Arezzo, Italy.
Thirteen of the 50 riders that had qualified to jump the Grand Prix produced clear rounds and moved on to the jump-off, where Butler was the fastest of those that managed to stay clear – taking the win with a time of 43.29 seconds. Adam Grzegorzewski (POL) followed in runner-up position with Issem (Quality Time TN x Clinton), after stopping the clock at 43.97. Third place went to Kevin Staut (FRA) and Bond Jamesbond de Hay (Diamant de Semilly x Kannan*Gfe), that completed the jump-off in 44.06 seconds, followed by Rikke Haastrup (DEN) in fourth who had the last double clear aboard Balouca Z (Baloubet du Rouet x Parco). Joe Stockdale (GBR) had the quickest time in the jump-off with his 42 seconds, but with a rail down he had to settle for fifth with Equine America Cacharel (Cachas x Quinar Z).
