Michel Robert (FRA) and Undiams de Varenne (Diamant de Semilly x Rox de la Touche) won the CSI3* Grand Prix of Macon Chaintré.
Only five riders qualified for the jump-off as the 1.55 track saw a lot of faults over the first round. Robert was then the fastest one in the second round as the clock stopped at 38,83 seconds.
Reynald Angot (FRA) and Symphonie des Biche (Kannan x Damiro B) followed in second place with 39,26 seconds while third place went to Stanislas Lafond (FRA) and Top Bras de Fer (Dollar de la Pier x Odjak du Trens). All three riders on top were double clear.
With four faults in the jump-off and the time 39,56 seconds, Alexis Deroubaix (FRA) and Secret du Pays d’Auge (Quick Star x Kannan) ended fourth just fractions ahead of Jessica Mendoza (GBR) and Sam de Bacon (Kashmir van Schuttershof x Vlan de Vergoignan) who finished with four penalties and the time 39,79 seconds.
