Saturday's CSI4* 1.45m world ranking class in Poznan had 60 horse-and-rider combinations on the starting list. Out of these, 21 were clear in the first round, but only the best 15 qualified for the second round.
Ultimately the win belonged to a regular visitor of Polish international shows; Andrius Petrovas from Lithuania riding Zwarovski Z (Zandor Z x Carthino Z). The pair showed great form once again – they were also victorious in the CSI2* Grand Prix in Zielona Góra in April.
“The first round was good for me. The second one was harder, because it left only the fastest riders. Those who were not quick enough could not qualify. I’m very happy about today,” said Petrovas.
Second place went to Germany’s Felix Hassmann with Balance 30 (Balou du Rouet x Ex Libris), and third to Wilm Vermeir from Belgium with Joyride S (Toulon x Pachat II).
