The CSI4* Sweden International Horse Show kicked off today, with a home win for Angelie von Essen on West Falica (Perion x Heartbreaker). The Swedish rider produced one of six double clear rounds in the 1.45 feature class, but was the fastest one against the clock at 28.68 seconds in phase two.
Not too far behind followed Belgium's Olivier Philippaerts on H&M Legend of Love (Landzauber x Corgraf), stopping the clock on 29.07 seconds. Third place went to Brazil's Marlon Zanotelli on Rock'n Roll Semilly (Diamant de Semilly), who finished the second phase on 29.38 seconds.
The opening CSI4* 1.40 class was also won by a home rider; Peder Fredricson on H&M Sibon (Sibon W x Baloubet du Rouet).
