France's Gregory Cottard and the lovely Bibici (Norman Pre Noir x Nelfo du Mesnil) won Thursday's CSI4* 1.50m presented by Artebeau Projectontwikkeling at the inaugural CSI4* Zangersheide International at Sentower Park in Belgium.
Twelve out of the 59 horse-and-rider-combinations at start cleared their way into the jump-off, where Bibici and Cottard were the quickest – stopping the clock on 32.72 and taking the win ahead of Austria's Max Kühner and Up Too Jacco Blue (Chacco-Blue x Ard VDL Douglas) in second in 34.08.
With a time of 34.63, Mathijs van Asten (NED) and Hotspot (Hors La Loi II x Nabab de Reve) placed third, while Angelique Rüsen (GER) and Arac du Seigneur Z (Ogano Sitte x Rubens du Ri d'Asse) finished fourth in 35.33 and Edwin Smits (SUI) fifth in 36.7 aboard Fleur Sinaa-A (Cardento 933 x Indorado).
