CSI2* Grand Prix wins for Hendrix and Smith

Monday, 21 March 2016
CSI2* Kronenberg/Mijas

It was Dutch domination in the CSI2* Parkhotel Horst Prix at De Peelbergen, with Michel Hendrix winning the class aboard the 12-year-old gelding Eder van den Blauwaert (Kashmir van Schuttershof x Skippy II). There were five double clear rounds in the class, but Hendrix was the fastest one in the jump-off with 0.34 seconds down to Pieter Keunen on Alban (Cavalier x Voltaire). Robbert Ehrens and Hisa (Indoctro x Parco) finished third, close to a second behind the winning time.

The CSI2* Grand Prix in Mijas was won by British rider James Smith on Tyson Uno (This Uno x Grosso Z). It was only the top two combinations that cleared the jump-off course, and runner-up was Australia's James Paterson-Robinson with Amarillo (Indoctro x Heartbreaker) who was a second behind on the clock. The fastest of the four-faulters was Great Britain's Anna Edwards with Blazer B (Tombola x Lord Z) who took care of the third place.
