The final day of the Kentucky National CSI2* was concluded by Daisy Farish (USA) and Etonemoi del Cabalero (Air Jordan x Le Tot de Semilly), owned by Lanes End Showjumping, leading the victory gallop of the $65,000 Lugano Diamonds 1.45m Grand Prix CSI2*, presented by Hagyard Equine Medical Institute.

"I thought the course designer did a good job designing today because it wasn't too big or wide but he just subtly made it technical with the different materials he was using," Farish said of Ken Krome's track which only saw three combinations complete a first round free of faults.

Second in the original starting order, Niko Ritter (USA) delivered the first clear round to earn him the first position in the jump-off with Wendy Peralta’s Kandle (Kannan x Casall). Farish knew the pair would be quick which proved true as they blazed across the jump-off track in 37.68 seconds, but it was at the expense of one rail down and Ritter would finish on four faults. Farish was able to adjust her plan to guide her to the double-clear effort, crossing the timers in 38.22 seconds. Ashley Miles and her own Conreu (Capo Cassione x Chacco-Blue) were the last to go, but with eight faults the duo would settle for third place behind Ritter in second place.

The fall series will continue at the Kentucky Horse Park for two additional weeks, highlighting the $100,000 Lugano Diamonds 1.50m Grand Prix CSI3*, presented by Hagyard Equine Medical Institute, during Split Rock Fall 1 and the $100,000 Lugano Diamonds 1.50m Grand Prix CSI3* for Split Rock Fall 2.
