Daniel Bluman (ISR) and the 14-year-old mare Gemma W (Luidam x Unaniem) bested a field of 43 horse-and-rider combinations in Tuesday's CSI4* 1.45m $38,700 Jet Run Devon Welcome Stake sponsored by Meridian Bank at Devon Horse Show 2025. Bluman and Gemma W clocked the fastest round in this 1.45m that counted for the Longines Rankings Group D, finishing in 56.21 seconds to claim the win ahead of Mark Bluman (COL) and Ubiluc (Ubiko x Lucian) in second – 0.86 behind. Emily Dehoff (USA) and Manou de Muze (Arko III x Quidam de Revel) placed third with a time of 57.56 seconds.
“I think the atmosphere is lovely,” said Bluman in a press release from Phelps Media Group. “People are very nice. You have the crowd who knows, you know, it’s like a tradition to come and be part of the whole show. And I think it’s our right, our responsibilities, as riders and professionals, to support and to come to these events. This is what really keeps the sport alive.”
