This week, the 31st Andalucía Sunshine Tour has kicked off in Vejer de la Frontera, Spain, with Germany's former world number one Daniel Deusser and the 14-year-old stallion Bingo Ste Hermelle (Number One D’Iso x Diamant de Semilly) topping Thursday's CSI4* 1.50m in the David Broome-arena.
Crossing the finish line in 56.18 seconds in this competition judged as a Table A, Deusser snatched the win from his compatriot and Stephex-colleague Kendra Claricia Brinkop and the 13-year-old mare Ma Belle (Ugano Sitte x Bayard D’Elle) who had to settle for second with their time of 57.79.
Belgium's Gilles Thomas and Elfra van Beek Z (El Salvador x Vagabond de La Pomme) completed the podium in third in 64.12, while Roy van Beek (BEL) and Diamant de Quidam – H Old (Diamant de Semilly x Quidam de Revel) finished fourth in 64.15, followed by Antonia Andersson (SWE) and Bella PS (Messenger x Contendros) in fifth in 64.61.
