Germany's former world number one Daniel Deusser and the 13-year-old stallion Bingo Ste Hermelle (Number One D'iso x Diamant de Semilly) won Friday's CSI5* 1.45m Banorte Trophy in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.
Counting for the Longines Ranking Group D, the competition judged in two phases saw 35 horse-and-rider combinations take to the start. With a time of 23.64, Deusser and Bingo Ste Hermelle took the top honours, followed by the hosts' Eugenio Garza Perez and Victer Finn DH Z (Va Vite x Stakkato) in second in 23.75, Zoe Conter (BEL) and Tombola Z (Toulon x Dominard) in third in 25.87, Ignacio Maurin (ARG) and Cortes (Chacco-Blue x Stalypso) in fourth in 25.95 and Arturo Parada Vallejo (MEX) aboard Icarus CJS (Quasimodo Z x Cassini I) in fifth in 26.51.
