Daniel Deusser (GER) and the 13-year-old mare Jasmien vd Bisschop (Larino x Chin Chin) won Friday's CSIO5* 1.50m Grand Prix qualifier presented by Invest Mobile at Knokke Hippique.
Thirteen of the 49 horse-and-rider combinations moved on to the jump-off after producing clear rounds, and ten of them repeated their clear score against the clock. Fastest of all was Deusser, who stopped the clock at 33.57 seconds in the jump-off – to take the win for the hosts at Knokke Hippique; Stephan Conter and his Stephex-team.
Gilles Thomas (BEL) and Aretino 13 (Artani 2 x Caretino) came second, when stopping the clock at 34.39 in the jump-off, followed by Peder Fredricson (SWE) and H&M All In (Kashmir Van Schuttershof x Andiamo Z) in third with a time of 35.08. Denis Lynch (IRL) and Rubens Ls La Silla (HH Rebozo x Cash) finished fourth after clocking the jump-off time of 35.16, while Simon Delestre (FRA) and Iniesta V (Zambesi TN x No Limit) took the fifth place with a time of 35.92.
