Dutch rider Doron Kuipers ended the Costa Del Sol Tour in Mijas in the best possible way when winning Sunday’s CS3* Grand Prix aboard his new ride Dickyville, a 9-year-old KWPN mare by Quasismodo Z x Lancelot.

A total of 25 % of the 44 riders in this 1.50m class moved on to the second round, and in the end Kuipers was one of only two riders that managed to produce a double clear round. Four seconds separated him from runner-up Laura Roquet Puignero (ESP) on Sandi Puigroq (Diamant de Semilly x Sandro), while third place went to Jörne Sprrehe (GER) carrying four faults from the first round on Stakki’s Jumper (Stakkato Gold x Gouvenour). Karel Cox (BEL) finished fourth, and Emanuele Bianchi (ITA) fifth.
