Maikel van der Vleuten took his second win at the Saut Hermès this weekend, when he went to the top in Sunday’s Prix de la Ville de Paris. The victory came on Maikel’s winning horse from Saturday, VDL Groep Eureka (Chin Chin x Quidam de Revel). Taking an early lead nobody could catch the Dutch rider, although they all tried – but on the expense of a rail down in the second phase of the 1.50 class.
Closest to Maikel came Pilar Lucrecia Cordon on Nuage Bleu (Fildor de Largival x Odjak Du Trens), who was just fractions behind on the time with 0.08 seconds up to the winner while third place was occupied by Billy Twomey on Lizziemary (Cabri D Elle x Acord II) who was another 0.02 seconds behind Cordon.
