Saturday's biggest class at CSI3* Jumping Indoor Maastricht was the Van Model Automotive Prize. Ten pairs out of the 43 that started cleared the first round over the 1.50m fences and joined the jump-off. Fastest of them all turned out to be Bianca Schoenmakers (NED) on the 9-year-old gelding Daylight (Ustinov x Oklund) with a time of 40,58 seconds. Gert Jan Bruggink (NED) on the 14-year-old gelding Vampire (Marome Nw x Voltaire) placed second after ending the shortend course in 40,96 seconds and Eric van der Vleuten (NED) on the 11-year-old mare Wunschkind 19 (Casall x Caletto I) took the third spot after clocking a time of 41,42.
Wilton Porter (USA) on the 10-year-old gelding Delinquent JX (Darco x I Need You) placed fourth and the fifth spot went to José Maria Larocca (ARG) on the 11-year-old gelding Gautcho Da Quinta (Cicero Z van Paemel x Upsilon vd Heffinck).
Earlier during the day the 1.45m Chapeau Prize went to Gerco Schröder (NED) on the 9-year-old mare Debalia (Numero Uno x Lupicor) with a time of 55,79 seconds. Wout-Jan van der Schans (NED) on the 8-year-old stallion Eloma's Blue SFN (Mr.Blue x Tygo) placed second crossed the finish line in 56,16 , while Ludger Beerbaum (GER) on the 14-year-old mare Chiara (Contender x Coronado 3) took the third spot with a time of 57,68.
Rolf-Göran Bengtsson (SWE) on the 11-year-old mare Yajamila (Lux Z x Daimler B) ended fourth and the fifth spot went to Gudrun Patteet (BEL) on the 8-year-old mare Clintissima van Spalbeek Z (Clintissimo Z x Picasso).
