Edouard Mathe kept the French flag on top in Oliva on Friday, when he took the win in the 1.45 Longines Ranking class at the 2016 Spring MET II. Aboard the 14-year-old stallion Olala de Buissy (Cook du Midour x Laudanum), Mathe produced one of twenty double clears in this two phase class but was the fastest one at 28.02 seconds.

Great Britain’s Louise Pavitt and Unex Chamberlain Z (Chellano Z x Peter Pan) took care of the runner-up position stopping the clock at 28.39 seconds, while Switzerland’s Daniel Etter finished third on Kheops du Roset CH (Kannan x Mistersman) in 28.45 seconds.
