The 2025-edition of Zangersheide International at Sentower Park, Belgium, concluded on Sunday with a Dutch podium in the CSI4* 1.55m Studbook Zangersheide Grand Prix.

A total of 49 horse-and-rider combinations came to start in the competition counting for the Longines Rankings Group B, with eight of them advancing to the jump-off. Frank Schuttert (NED) and the 12-year-old mare Isis (Cardento 933 x Lupicor) took an early lead, setting the standard to 34.61 – a time that proved unbeatable in the end. Harrie Smolders (NED) and Kaspar R (Eldorado vd Zeshoek x Baloubet du Rouet) got the closest, slotting into second in 34.79, while the last pair out, Willem Greve and Laretto (Adagio de Talma x Indoctro) finished third in 36.03, pushing Patrick Stühlmeyer (GER) on Clemens 72 (Chacco-Blue x Conthargos) to fourth and Thomas de With (BEL) aboard Tools DW Z (Toulon x Cicero Z) to fifth.

“Isis is a very talented mare,” Schuttert told World of Showjumping about the mare that is owned by Frank’s father. “She is unbelievably competitive, quick and light of the floor. She has a lot of blood, and in a jump-off like this that is what you want.”

“I have worked nine years in this area and I think there are not many riders who did as many rounds in this ring as I did,” Schuttert said about the venue in Sentower Park. “I came her for the first Zangersheide International as well, it is unbelievable what they do. It is a nice Grand Prix to win!”
