Germany's Gerrit Nieberg and the 10-year-old gelding Ping Pong van de Lentamel (Emerald x Toulon) took their second consecutive CSI4* 1.55m Grand Prix win as week two of competition at the Andalucía Sunshine Tour 2025 in Vejer de la Frontera, Spain, concluded on Sunday.

The 2022 Aachen Grand Prix-winner won last week's Big Tour Grand Prix at the traditional Spanish venue as well, and today he was back in the winner's circle – besting a field of 50 horse-and-rider combinations in the CSI4* 1.55m Equine America Grand Prix after clocking the fastest time in a jump-off of eight. Stopping the clock on 38.16 seconds, Nieberg took the win ahead of Roy Van Beek (BEL) and Cavoiro - H OLD (Casallco x Calido I) who were 2.15 seconds behind on the clock. Riccardo Pisani (ITA) and Chatolinue PS (Diablo Blanco x Stakkatol) concluded the podium with a time of 41.40 seconds, and the third and last double clear round. With four faults in the jump-off, Billy Twomey (IRL) and Jumping Jack van de Kalevallei (Kannan x Chin Chin) finished fourth followed by Antonia Andersson (SWE) on Bella PS (Messenger x Contendros) in fifth.
