The Roelofs Groep Prize, Saturday's main class at CSI4* Geesteren a 1.50m Table A on time, went to Gert Jan Bruggink (NED) on the 9-year-old gelding Charmeur 436 (Cristallo x Oldenburg). Out of the 67 starters in the class 24 managed to pull out a clear round, and it was tight at the top; Bruggink won with a time of 60,88 seconds, while second placed Shane Breen (IRL) on the 10-year-old stallion Laith (Lord Z x Weinberg) clocked a time of 60,99 seconds.
William Funnell (GBR) on the 14-year-old gelding Billy Angelo (Tangelo Van De Zuuthoeve x Kroongraaf) took the third place with a time of 62,88 seconds, Laura Renwick (GBR) on the 9-year-old mare Mhs Washington (Obos Quality x Cavalier Royale) placed fourth with a time of 63,31 seconds and the fifth place went to Megan Lauser (NED) on the 11-year-old mare Bleu Bayou (Berlin x Ahorn) with a time of 65,53 seconds.
The first 4* class of the day, the Frankonia Eurobau Prize, a 1.45m in two phases saw Italy on top. Luca Maria Moneta (ITA) on the 16-year-old gelding Connery (Cordobes II x Polydor) took home the win with a time of 31,68 seconds. Robert Vos (NED) on the 8-year-old gelding Darius (Warrant x Calvados) placed second with a time of 32,48 seconds and the third place went to Marco Porro (ITA) on the 12-year-old gelding Indie Gp (Indorado x Ahorn).
Cassio Rivetti (BRA) on the 9-year-old stallion Ulahop Boy (Lamm de Fetan x Kannan) placed fourth with a time of 34,71 seconds, while Wout-Jan Van Der Schans on the 14-year-old gelding Capetown (Oklund x Carlino) took the fifth spot with a time of 35,64 seconds.
