With a packed stadium, top class riders and horses rose to the occasion taking on the challenging track set by Manuel Esparza, making for an exciting yet intimate atmosphere under the lights in the CSI2* $70,200 Grand Prix FEI class, presented by Groupby, at Angelstone.

The first rider on course was sixteen years old Sam Walker aboard Acardi Du Houssoit Z (Artos Z x Carthago Z), posting a clear round, after the time allowed was adjusted to seventy-six seconds. Only five riders were clear and advanced to the jump-off. Sam was joined by Ali Ramsay, Molly Ashe-Cawley, Susan Horn and Rachel Cornacchia.

However, it was Horn riding Lillyfee (Wonder x Bret Frost) who bested the field and stood on the top of the podium. By her side was Ali Ramsay in second and Rachel in third.
