Gudrun Patteet (BEL) and the 13-year-old stallion Sea Coast Guinness (Nabab de Reve x Katell) won Friday’s CSI4*-W 1.50m at the 2024-edition of Cavaliada Poznan in Poland.
Clocking a time of 36.79 seconds in a jump-off between nine horse-and-rider combinations, Patteet bested a field of 75 starters in this competition counting for the Longines Rankings Group D.
Mans Thijssen (NED) and Hello (Ambler Gambler x Nabab de Reve) took the runner-up spot with a time of 37.16, while Jeroen Appelen (BEL) and Gently Z (Gentleman x Numero Uno) placed third in 37.53, followed by Michal Kazmierczak (POL) and Kalahari Rock (Harley x Little Rock) in fourth in 38.52. Zascha Nygaard Lill (DEN) and Primavera (Mylord Carthago x Cornet Obolensky) clocked the fastest time in the jump-off, crossing the finish line in 33.93 seconds but paid for the risk with a fence down, resulting in four penalties which left the Danish rider fifth.
