Tops International Arena hosted the Global Future Champions Week 11-13 July (young horses) and 15-17 July (CSIU25, CSIYR, CSIJCSICh and CSIP). Sunday it was time for the CSIU25 Grand Prix, a 1.50 class with 26 young and talented riders.
Several of the names on the start list have already been competing on a high level for years and have several top results up to 5*-level, including Frank Schuttert, Pieter Clemens and Jessica Springsteen. All three produced clear rounds and went through to the jump-off together with another well-known name on the circuit, Johan-Sebastian Gulliksen, and last but not least, Hamad Ali Mohamed A Al Attiyah, who won the class aboard Appagino 2 (Arpeggio x Casaretto) only 0,16 seconds ahead of runners-up Gulliksen and Charleville (Quasimodo Z x Lancelot).
Clemens and Horizon de Regor (Obourg x Cento) ended third as the last combination to produce two clear rounds and was followed by Schuttert and Bugatti v.d Nortside (Unaniem x Burggraf) on four faults and Springsteen on eight, the latter with the fastest jump-off of the day aboard Vindicat W (Guidam x Libero H).
