The 2024-edition of the Chantilly Classic got off to a good start for the hosts when Harold Boisset (FRA) and his 17-year-old T'Obetty du Domaine (Kashmir van Schuttershof x Diams du Grasset) took the top honours in Wednesday's CSI4* 1.50m Prix Audevard, besting a starting field of 74 horse-and-rider-combinations.
With a time of 66.44, the French pair took the win ahead of Amanda Slagter (NED) and Cornet Blue PS (Chacco-Blue x Cornet's Stern) in second in 67.87, while João Victor Castro Aguiar Gomes de Lima (BRA) and Charon van Moeshof (Diamant de Semilly x Fergar Mail) placed third in 68.51. Gianpiero Garofalo (ITA) and Gaspahr (Berlin x Otangelo) followed in fourth after clocking a time of 68.64, while Valentin Besnard (FRA) and Diamantina Beaufour (Diamant de Semilly x Cassini I) placed fifth in 68.84.
