The French riders have dominated on home soil in St Lô this weekend, and Sunday's CSI4* 1.55m Grand Prix was no different as it ended with an all-French podium led by Julien Epaillard and Queeletta (Quality x Landor S) that took the top honours.

Seven of the fifty horse-and-rider combinations made it to the jump-off, and with five of them being French the chances of a home win were good. In the end, no one could do much about the notoriously fast Epaillard and his 12-year-old mare that brought the time down to 39.13 seconds in the jump-off. Juliette Faligot followed in second place with Arqana de Riverland (Cornet Obolensky x Diamant de Semilly), with a time of 40.22 seconds. Third place went to Nina Mallevaey on Virtuose Champeix (Rubins des Bruyeres x Avec Espoir), after the pair stopped the clock at 40.94 seconds. Henrik von Eckermann (SWE) ended fourth with King Edward (Edward 28 x Feo), after delivering the last double clear of the class. Fifth, with one down in the jump-off, was Laurent Goffinet (FRA) with Atome des Etisses (Mylord Carthago x Quidam de Revel).
