Katrin Eckermann (GER) took Friday's biggest win at CSI4* Hof Waterkant in Pinneberg, Germany, when topping the CSI4* 1.50m Eickendorf Horses und Meyer-Zimmermann Sport & Business Cup – also a qualifier for Sunday's Grand Prix – with the 10-year-old Chao Lee (Comme Il Faut x Chacco-Blue). 

With a time of 35.69 seconds, Eckermann and Chao Lee were the quickest combination in a jump-off between 17 pairs, taking the win ahead of Christian Kukuk (GER) and Checker 47 (Comme Il Faut x Come On) in second in 36.37. Rolf-Göran Bengtsson (SWE) and Zuccero (VDL Zirocco Blue x Caretino) placed third in 36.47, while Irma Karlsson (SWE) and Chacconu (Chacco-Blue x Perhaps van de Molenvondel) finished fourth in 36.76, followed by Mario Stevens (GER) in fifth in 36.84 aboard Starissa (Stakkato Gold x Quidam's Rubin).
