It was a French duo on top in Sunday's CSI5* 1.60m Hubside Store Grand Prix presented by Indexia at Hubside Jumping Grimaud in Grimaud, St. Tropez, France, as Laurent Goffinet and Atome des Etisses (Mylord Carthago*HN x Quidam de Revel) took the win ahead of Marc Dilasser and Arioto du Gevres (Diamant de Semilly x Qualisco III) in second.
Eight of the 42 horse-and-rider combinations in the class cleared the first-round track to join the jump-off, where Goffinet was the fastest when stopping the clock at 39.34 aboard his 12-year-old stallion. Only 0.05 seconds behind followed Dilasser, while Dominique Hendrickx (BEL) had 0.12 separating him and Floris TN (Quality Time TN x Vancouver) from the winning pair.
With a time of 39.53 seconds Christian Ahlmann (GER) and Mandato van de Neerheide (Emerald x Pommeau du Heup) took the fourth place, while the fifth went to Abdel Said (BEL) and Bonne Amie (AD A Big Boy x Landfriese I) after the two stopped the clock at 40.36 seconds.
