It ended with double French on top in Sunday's CSI4* 1.60m Clip My Horse Grand Prix in St Tropez Gassin, France, with Nicolas Sers and the 11-year-old gelding Espoir de La Chesnee (President x Looping d'Elle) in first, followed by Nicolas Layec and Fee de Caryan (Vigo d'Arsouilles x Lamm de Fetan) in second after a jump-off of fifteen.
A total of 46 horse-and-rider combinations had lined up at start, and fifteen of them moved on to the jump-off where seven managed to deliver yet another clear. Fastest of all was Sers who stopped the clock on 39.31 seconds, closely followed by Layec who crossed the timers in 39.70. Sweden's Marcus Westergren split up the French when finishing third with Airco de L Esprit Z (Air Jordan Alpha Z x Quantum) with a time of 40.00 seconds, followed by another two home riders in fourth and fifth; Arthur Le Vot on Djinn Cece (New Look du Thot x Elixir de Madame), and Philippe Rozier on Le Coultre de Muze (Presley Boy x Vigo d'Arsouilles).
