There were some exciting new combinations out showing in Den Bosch the past weekend. One of them was Christian Ahlmann and Frank Schuttert's former ride Epleaser van't Heike, that was bought for Christian earlier this year by his sponsor Marion Jauß. All photos (c) Jenny Abrahamsson.
Then there was Bertram Allen on Quiet Easy 4, a horse previously seen under Angelica Augustsson, Chloe Aston and Ben Maher. This was Allen's first international show with the 11 year old gelding.
Willem Greve rode his new partner Eldorado v Zeshoek TN, an eleven year old stallion that came to the Dutch rider in February.
The eight year old Quadros 3 did his first five star show under Marco Kutscher. The stallion is by Quidam de Revel, and has done a few international classes with Marco in 2015.
Marlon Zanotelli now has the ride on King Julio, a horse that comes from Jos Lansink's stable - and that is now owned by Ashford Farm. King Julio is an eight year old stallion by Lansink's former top horse King Kolibri.
Nicola Philippaerts and Ustina Sitte are a new combination, and have been together since the beginning of the year. Ustina Sitte was previously ridden by Dirk Demeersman.
Harrie Smolders competed Aiyetoro, a ten year old Concorde-gelding that Saer Coulter has been showing before.
Quelbora Merze did his debut with Michael Whitaker in the saddle. The eleven year old French bred gelding has previously been seen under Jean Michel Martinot.
Michael also had with him Calcourt Falklund, an eleven year old gelding by Oklund that has been competed by Lauren Edwards before.
Christian Ahlmann also had another ride with him that is new on the five star scene; Reavnir - a nine year old gelding by Ricardos that has been jumping at a lower level with Ahlmann during 2014.
