Jean-Maurice Brahier (SUI) and the 13-year-old gelding Caracoles (Chacco-Blue x Lifestyle) took the top honours in Friday's CSI4* 1.50m presented by Equiline at Equieffe Equestrian Centre in Gorla Minore, Italy.
Stopping the clock at 41.61 seconds in a jump-off of nine, Brahier had more than a second down to Elia Simonetti (ITA) riding Li La Bo (Uriko x Casall) and François Spinelli (ITA) on San Krystiano (Vandamme x Stolzenberg) who both crossed the timers in 42.90 seconds to share the runner-up spot. Simon Widmann (GER) took fourth place riding Qlawella Denfer (Qlassic Bois Margot x Litsam) to a time of 44.29 seconds, followed by Mario Wilson Fernandes (POR) who completed the top five clocking in on 44.34 seconds aboard Krachtpatser (Carrera VDL x Animo).
